Kia EV4:

The Kia EV4 will likely be an compact SUV positioned between the Kia Niro Electric and Kia EV6. Think of it as a proper electric alternative to the Kia Sportage.
Based on the E-GMP platform, the EV4 would be a model designed and engineered as an EV from the outset, which would make it more space-efficient and practical than similar-sized conventional SUVs or conversion electric SUVs (like the Niro Electric). Reports say it may come with single- and dual-motor powertrains producing 226-321 hp and 58 and 77.4 kWh battery packs delivering a WLTP range of up to over 300 miles.
The Kia EV4 could debut in the second half of 2023. It will likely be present at IAA 2023 (September 4-10, 2023), which will be the biggest European auto show held in the calendar year. There’s no word on whether Kia plans to offer the EV4 in the U.S.
Kia EV9:

The Kia EV9 will become the South Korean brand’s flagship model in 2023. The large electric SUV will be the company’s first three-row electric vehicle, targeted at family customers looking for an all-electric alternative to the Kia Telluride.
Previewed with a concept at the 2021 LA Auto Show, the Kia EV9 will share the E-GMP platform with the already-on-sale Kia EV6. It will likely come with features like solar panels, Smart Glass, Level 3 autonomous driving, face recognition, vegan leather, ultra-wide dual display, etc. The production EV9 will be the first Kia to feature OTA (Over the Air) and FoD (Feature on Demand) services.
Kia could offer the EV9 in single-motor RWD and dual-motor AWD variants and a standard lithium-ion battery pack with a storage capacity of 100 kWh. The battery pack will operate at a high voltage of around 800 volts. Expect the maximum supported fast-charging input to be 350 kW.
At the 2022 Kia CEO Investor Day held on March 3, 2022, Ho Sung Song, the company’s President & CEO, said that the EV9 can deliver a range of approx, 540 km (336 miles). A six-minute charge is enough to cover a distance of 100 km (62 miles). A 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint takes just five seconds. The EPA-est. range of the EV9 could be 300+ miles.
Kia’s flagship electric SUV will go on sale in the U.S. in the second half of 2023, Russell Wager, Vice President – Marketing, Kia America, confirmed at the New York International Auto Show on April 13, 2022. Expect its base configuration to cost around USD 50,000.
